Street Unveiling
We are deeply honored that the city of Bellport, Long Island, has declared May 23, 2024, as Tanya Indrani Bathija Day. On this special day, the city also unveiled a new street named in her memory, recognizing her first Dunkin' Donuts franchise location.
Tanya, we love and miss you dearly and are incredibly proud of all you achieved.

Sunrise Walkathon
On June 9, 2024 a walk was held by Sunrise Day Camp and the TIB Foundation team participated.
The Sunrise Foundation is a group Tanya spent time with and volunteered for to enrich the lives of underprivileged children with cancer.
Thank you to all who joined us on this beautiful day.
Sweet Day at Sunrise
On August 15, 2024 we teamed up with Sunrise Day Camp on their last day of camp treating these incredible kids to some sweet surprises. It was wonderful working together, connecting with these amazing kids, and continuing Tanya’s legacy.
Satsang Honoring Tanya's Life
On August 17, 2024 we had honored the life and spirit of Tanya Indrani Bathija with a heartfelt satsang on her birthday. Though she is no longer with us, her memory lives on in the love and wisdom she shared. May her soul find peace and may we continue to be inspired by her legacy.
Sunrise Walkathon
The TIB Foundation proudly participated in the Sunrise Walkathon on June 8, 2025, marking our second year as part of this meaningful event. The walkathon brought together community members, supporters, and volunteers in support of a cause that continues to inspire and unite us.
With strong participation and an incredible turnout, the event was a great success and reflected the dedication and compassion of everyone involved. We are honored to be part of this annual tradition and look forward to continuing our support in the years ahead.
The Tanya Award
On August 8, 2025, the Long Island Indo American Lions Club honored the TIB Foundation by establishing the Tanya Award, an annual recognition created in Tanya’s memory.
The award will be presented each year to a young woman who embodies the qualities Tanya was known for—ambition, compassion, resilience, and a commitment to making a positive difference in the lives of others.
Through this meaningful tribute, Tanya’s legacy will continue to inspire and empower future generations of young women to pursue their dreams and serve their communities with purpose.
Satsang Honoring Tanya's Life
On August 18, 2025, family, friends, and supporters gathered for a special satsang to honor the life and memory of Tanya Indrani Bathija on her birthday. The gathering served as a meaningful opportunity to reflect on her lasting impact, celebrate the values she embodied, and keep her spirit alive through prayer, remembrance, and community.
Tanya’s legacy continues to inspire all who knew her, and her memory remains a guiding light for the mission of the TIB Foundation.
